  •  Last summer my wife was sitting on the deck (9+ / 0-)

with my son and had a severe dizzy spell and almost blacked out.  I wasn't home but he took her directly to the hospital.  She was seen immediately and they were worried about a stroke.  Over the course of the afternoon she had a number of tests including a CT scan and blood tests.  They concluded that she hadn't had a stroke and that the cause was something else.  She was feeling fine by that time so they released her with instructions to return immediately if the symptoms returned.  The next day they called and said that it appeared that the dizziness was caused by a reaction to a sinus medication she was taking.  The bill for those medical services.  $0.  We are in Canada.  You need single payer heathcare.
