    Please, please start charging me sales tax for my online purchases because I feel sorry for those folks who own all the property on main street and in the malls.  

    I am appalled by the policies Democrats are currently supporting/not-supporting.

    Someone forgot to ask the consumer.

      . . . the Republican House is less likely to support it.
      First, the only thing standing between the American People and our not already having the Chained CPI and a multitude of cuts to the Medicare Beneficiary [as a result of previous negotiations with Boehner] was 'the Republicans.'

      Now, the likely thing that may block this very 'regressive' proposal from becoming law is the Republican House.

      In my lifetime, I have never heard a Democratic Administration define 'cuts to the social insurance programs' or the implementation of a regressive sales tax as 'progressive'--until this Administration.

      What's wrong with this picture?
