    Three words - speech to text.

    Audiobooks average between 150 and 160 words per minute.  

    I see no problem with the idea that even a person suffering from speech difficulties could toss out 900 words in 15 minutes, hand it to someone else to proofread/edit, and have a finished product in my hands in 45 minutes.

    Siri, take a memo...

    The word "parent" is supposed to be a VERB, people...

      What she has a lot of trouble with is speaking. But her mind is fully functional, and she has one good arm and hand. There is a great deal of adaptive computer technology, and no reason why she could not have devices to let her create text with one hand.

      That editorial is pure Gabby. She wrote it.
