This is just a test from - view source to see if it this is the format

I guess buying up a dying industry is cheap next to buying up a dying political political party, Kochs.

I hope there are no    rules against using the smaller format or if will cause problems  - if this works (is smaller) that is

format, by copying the exact html used does not work. Inline blockquote styles that would result in that fp style being duplicated exactly are non-functional for us.

I was obsessed with this awhile back. MB finally told me it was a special deal for the front pagers.

        •  It should work if you have all the code (3+ / 0-)

Actually lifting the code out of a night owls thread awhile back. I couldn't get it to work then.

But, I now see your "evil twin" Zachary's comment below. So... ;)

I had created a helpdesk topic on this awhile back, but closed it after MB had confirmed the special nature of this type of tweet embedding.

I don't recall off hand how informative it would in fact be for your purposes, but I just wanted to let you know there was indeed one made by me regarding this issue.

Sometimes they get lost in the crush.

We are working on a new comment editor now, so I'll bring up the option of making something in this format accessible to y'all.

It's only because the DK style is so damn SUPERIOR to the native Twitter embed style that many of us want it.

The Twitter ones seem to add a lot of load time to pages, from what I can tell, as they have to go and pull a bunch of the extra functions/retweet counts and whatnot from Twitter itself via the scripts, I guess.

Not so with DK version...lean, concise, and pretty.

What more could you want in an embed? :)

        •  Let's give this a whirl (3+ / 0-)

Interesting. You're correct, it gets eaten without the special sparkly magic.

I'll see about making this accessible more generally.

          (elfling's evil twin)

          •  That would be absolutely SUPER (1+ / 0-)
