    But... somebody designed
    us!

just another exercise in human narcissism.

The truth is, we created ourselves then we set about creating our gods.

+++ The law is a weapon used to bludgeon us peasants into submission. It is not to be applied to the monied elite.

... felt that the best argument against creationism (and all religions for that matter) is their narcissistic qualities. "See those billions of light years of space and the quadrillions of stars and planets up there. That's all about me!"

Actually, it just made the prophet of the day more important. Cosmically important. But it also made the average person feel more significant.

I would also work the Norse, Greek, Roman, Egyptian and other mythology angles in debating a creationist. Were they wrong? Why were they wrong? If all the people of that day believed they were right, then, weren't they right? Where was god when the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians got it so wrong?

In the end, I think what will win the argument is numbers. The more children learn math and science, the fewer creationists we'll have. Numbers killed off the mythologies of the past.

By the way, I would tip you, a gilas girl, but the god took away my tips!  ; )

I would tip you, but the man took away my tips.
