    "Keystone XL would have a minimal impact on the environment" that could only be true if they had information in hand showing that we are already so far beyond the tipping point that adding this disastrous project (and allowing other pipelines to carry the same disastrous sludge) and permitting the stuff to be burnt anywhere in the world might not make a difference.

    But I bet they don't even have that.

    It's important to remember that these are people whose last scientific education, if any, took place in the 1950s and '60s, and who have far more firsthand experience in the "world" of finance.
