in a little over a year is a mighty fine number, one to be proud of.

Thanks for all the good work.

Rush: the clock is so ticking on your career. After you've lost your big radio slot, what's next for you, big guy? No friends. No family. Women, who aren't interested strictly in your fortune, won't look twice at you. I think you know it.

    You'll basically be a has-been.

And hell, he can probably get into right wing politics personally, run for some blood red district.

(or never-wases, as the case may be) in your motor scooters, you don't have a clue what's causing your misery? You want to feel like a manly-man? Here is a chance to vote for somebody  who represents your values, who is just like you. 'Cept richer.

But what he craves is a platform from which to be a power broker.  He craves the fear he perceives in Republican politicians who immediately walk back anything they say that is critical of him.

And he knows, or should know, that radio is the only platform that's going to work for him.  What's he going to do?  Get all those old white guys to join him on Twitter?

It's only going to take a few major radio market drops for him to be yesterday's news, and then Clear Channel can decide not to renew his contract.  He'll be an official has-been.

A 47% return on investment--that's pretty doggoned good!

Can you imagine how his bombast would take over a legislature?  It would be the fastest way to get rid of him, because his fellow legislators would be so sick and tired of his parade within 2 weeks.

He would be trussed up like a stuffed hog, official transcripts burping & foaming from the mouth, on the dias.

The other reason he's a one location band, is because his hearing loss is so bad, he can't function without multiple visual aids.
