  •  I got this from TSA (0+ / 0-)

I used to travel all the time, and was told that it was illegal to carry medication except in the original container with your name on the label.

It is illegal to transport medicine that does not belong to you, so make sure your full name appears on your prescription bottle before heading to the airport.

...what is illegal is transporting medicine that does not belong to you.  Having your full name on the label is suggested as a way to prove that it belongs to you.  As it turns out, in Limbaugh's case, the meds did belong to him, having been prescribed to him by his doctor.  He just had to go to somewhat greater lengths to prove ownership.

      •  If it was his, why wasn't his name on the label? (0+ / 0-)

I think the difference here is I don't believe that those pills were prescribed to him and you do.

His doctor claims that he prescribed them to Limbaugh, but in the name of Limbaugh's therapist, which apparently is something that is sometimes done with celebrity patients.

Why do have trouble believing that Limbaugh was prescribed Viagra?  It's pretty common, you know.  I think most healthy male patients can get it pretty much for the asking.
