  •  Happy Pigs-in-a-Blanket-Day! (6+ / 0-)

Snuggle up little piggies. Makes me think of Wall Street for some reason.

Considering where I've been, I live oddly near where I was born, couple of hundred miles maybe. I grew up an army brat. We lived in Germany, Laos, Thailand and France, in that order, each interspersed with a year or two back in the States, always in the South, Ft. McClellan or Fort Benning, where I was born. My dad was stationed there when I was born and then again after Laos and before France.

Laos had to be the furthest away, both geographically and culturally. Being almost exactly on the opposite side of the earth from the USA, it's about as far away as you can get...without, you know, rocketry. Laos was fascinating but remote and strange. I loved it.

I'm a bit of a homebody but I don't get homesick so much anymore. I've had to learn how to camp where I am and be glad it's no worse.

    I'm in-between.

    Bon jour mes petite bombiers.
