    so it doesn't have diddley to say about how guns are sold, what prices or taxes they can have, or how their sale or transfer is regulated. That's why firearms dealers are licensed and regulated. Nobody has any more "constitutional right" to sell a gun than they do to sell a toaster.

    But of course I got no problem with selling or transferring assault rifles---once they are classified as Class 3.  We can already sell and transfer Class 3 weapons to people with the appropriate permits. I see no need to change that.

    As for other firearms, I got no problem with selling or transferring them either--as long as ALL such transfers are subject to the same background checks and paperwork as every other transfer.
