right before, not just flying home for the weekend--but for the Week---Do any lawmakers have any town halls scheduled so their constituencies can talk with them about this?
Oregon Sens Wyden, Merkley ceratinly do not. Neither does my House Rep.
So in addition to revealing, by vote/position what kind of "person" They are--they hide from us because they are too afraid to meet with us? Still hoping this won't have an Electoral Memory" if they just ignore "it" and us?

the 72 hour rule. A story stays in the media and public interest for 72 hours then fades. Maybe it's our collective short attention span or the indignity is replaced by a new indignity ... I hope we remember and we let Congress know we remember.

I hope we keep this alive--this time.  Over the past decade or so, our "lapses in memory" are really taking a serious and dangerous toll- a toll that at this juncture is clearly evident and reveals undeniable and Intentional harm that is going to have a ripple effect that is unimaginable in the very near future.
That and (me included) a Wide swath of us were/are unwilling to accept the horrible facts about our own party. I allowed "them" to distract Me, to use me to point fingers at "the others" in jest---ridiculing them for "always electing candidates that hurt their own best interests", and for drinking the now infamous koolaid--As WE, ourselves were electing those who clearly didn't and don't represent our best interest all while we were simply "sipping" a different flavor koolaid.
As WE demand our lawmakers and indeed POTUS to "go FDR on their asses" Remember--the electorate had a "memory" much longer than 72 hours and got behind a Dem Wing of the Dem Party POTUS who enjoyed a Dem Wing of the Dem Party in Congress--none of which we have today.
        Hard to admit..but.............
