    that you remember the food so vividly!

    I do miss the "olden days" when flight attendants and airlines treated passengers like royalty.
    Actually, miss the respect for customers from retailers, too!
    And, employer loyalty back then, whereby employers rewarded employees for their service.
    There were plenty of things wrong back then, too, but a lot of things were good, too.

    My husband and I always say that we got in when the 'gettin' was good' and got out when the 'gettin' out was good.'

    All we need is LOVE!

      has stuck to me for years, especially around the waist. Wish I'd been old enough to recognize it as the end of an era.  I think I've flown commercially on no more than 3 piston powered plane since then.  A couple of times on military aircraft since then. Everything else has been jet of turbo prop since then.  

      I think I've flown on every Boeing 7xx plane except the 787 since then, if you count the 720 as a 707...  Even the short lived 717.
