    It's hot and muggy here.

Yesterday's storms completely missed us. There's another chance of thunderstorms late tomorrow and early Thursday so here's hoping we get some rain; we desperately need more.

yesterday it was supposed to rain.  I mean it drizzled.  We haven't had rain rain for some time now!!!  Things are pretty dry... so thank goodness for the cooler temps at least!

for your spring to be humid?

It sounds like you're living through our usual summer right now.  I don't think anyone around here in summer has ever uttered the phrase "but it's a dry heat" when referring to our weather.  ;-)

that it has gotten a lot muggier in the past few years.

It's not unusual for it to be sticky outside when storms are brewing about. Yesterday after the threat of storms moved on and took the humidity with it the temp dropped noticeably and it turned out to be a very pleasant evening. But today the temps bounced right back up along with the humidity.

A cold front is blowing in tomorrow night and we're going to have unseasonably cool temps for a couple of days with overnight lows back down into the 40s. It will rebound into the 70s by the weekend which looks to be very pleasant and unusually mild for the first week of May.
