    The US overreacted to Boston and under reacted to West.
    We're still peeling back layers of information on what happened in Boston.

    And it wasn't just, "three killed." Several hundred lives have been directly affected by those cowardly blasts.

      that what happened in Boston wasn't terrible for thousands of people,  and gruesome for hundreds, unbearable for dozens.  It was awful and I mourn their losses.

      I am mostly talking about the wy the media have covered  those  losses.  In no way do I mean to minimize anyone's actual suffering.  But the way we are pushed to identify with this or that tragedy and to "suffer" by proxy is curious and hardly proportional.
