  •  Irony... (6+ / 0-)

...the people complaining that those beneath them are lazy are the same people who don't want to do the hard work of improving their lot in life...

    •  They believe they are working hard (6+ / 0-)

Romney certainly did. They are making big decisions with lots of zeros to the left of the decimal point, and holding meetings with lots of Important People (including of course their lawyers, accountants, and brokers), and have to be in touch via BlackBerry All The Time. Most of them are not lazy; they are working hard at what's important to them.

What they don't understand is that without other people washing their socks, their floors, their dishes, and changing the oil in their cars -- a different kind of work -- they would be completely lost. And because they don't value that work, they don't see why people who do it should be paid decently -- or in case of wives, paid at all.

      •  Except working used to be about actually (1+ / 0-)

doing something, not just playing with other people's money and skimming off the top. I wish somebody would explain just what kind "work" the likes of Romney, Trump,  Hank Greenberg, and their like do? What do they produce? Near as I can tell the answer is Zero.

      •  My comment wasn't directed at the plutocrats... (1+ / 0-)

... but rather at the people who are not plutocrats, yet still vote for the Plutocrat Agenda by voting Republican't because they've bought the lie that people with absolutely no power or standing in society somehow have the power to ruin the economy...
