  •  Entrepreneurship will definitely help Millennials. (7+ / 0-)

But not necessary business entrepreneurship; I"m thinking more political entrepreneurship.  This statement says it all: "When one missed paycheck means descending into poverty without a safety net, unions and political activism seem like a low priority."  Unions and political activism would seem in the first instance to be a way OUT of the situation you describe.  The powerless only become powerful by banding together, and that means changing the conversation not only between corporations and workers, but within the Democratic Party about what is acceptable and what is not.  This will take political entrepreneurship, the willingness to form new coalitions that do not depend on--and ultimately supplant--older, less-functioning ones.

The road to Hell is paved with pragmatism.
