    You pick the black people who get face time in the beltway press and totally disregard those black who have come out in support.

    You are no better than conservatives who pick and choose the parts of the bible they want to expound on. You pick and choose the "blacks" that allow you to make your case while disregarding those that destroy your case.

    Black people, as whole, are becoming more tolerant. Focusing on the whackadoodles instead of building bridges with those who do support progress seems to me to be counter-productive.

      The very first image I have put in this diary post was of Morgan Freeman, a prominent black actor who gets lots of face time and has clearly come out in support of marriage equality (as evidenced by the tweet in the image I posted).

      Deficits don't matter, jobs do.
