    We only lost MI 1 by a few hundred votes this time, clearly the result of a little gerrymandering in the west LP. But last time I can't even remember the candidate's name--a party insider--and the number of retired union members who didn't bother to vote, and therefore got their fellow union members the "right to work for less" was staggering.

    I could sit here and name at least half a dozen situations where the Dems nominated the "good old party member" rather than someone who can win. When we do that, we lose.
