    Democrats are blackballed for life.

can't blame Republicans for all of that.  Dems will tend to leave after they've been disgraced.  Just because Dems are more likely to have some remaining vestige of honor after they are disgraced isn't the Republicans fault.

What I don't get is, knowing what the chances are that a Republican will lie cheat and steal - mostly to and from their constituents, why their supportors continue to carry that particular scorpion across the river.

and stay put.  See Vitter, Ensign, Craig, Barr, Livingston, Gingrich, Burton, (Helen) Chenoweth, JC Watts, etc.

Foley and Packwood resigned.  CA had a real prince in extreme right winger John Schmitz who knocked up a woman who wasn't his wife, twice.  (And his kid was Mary Kay LeTourneau!  Remember her?  Got preggers by her 13 year old student?!)

Anybody remember when Neil Bush, W's bro, said during his divorce that he had some random sex with hookers who randomly showed up at his door when he was on a business trip in Thailand.  He said he didn't realize they were prostitutes.  He just thought they found him irresistible.

They have momentary lapses of judgment. Momentary because apparently that's all the longer a Republican man can last.

Big Dog!  But hey, that wasn't really an affair...or so they say.  They being the democratic apologists.  But at least he is making good out of his retirement years.  It was one of my few misgivings about a Hillary presidency...what would the Big Dog be doing while she was presidencing?
