  •  I am sorry to throw cold water on this otherwise (5+ / 0-)

    great diary.

    BUT,

in his part of Texas, there have been no regulations governing pesticides, plastic manufacture, oil refining, and insulation manufacture. The ground water gleams and shines.  At night. Without any artificial energy source.

The air has a thick, rosy complexion, much like Gary, Indiana of the 1960s. The ground crumbles and turns to dust, as all of the chemical fall out destroys any chance of life taking root and growing in that soil.

This area is not only filled with chemical toxins, but is one of the most in-bred parts of the country, far exceeding the illiterate zones of Appalachia and the toothless bible belt of Florida.

While in comparison with other congresscritters (excepting two Illinois reps, Michelle Bachmann, and the entire AL, FLA,  and SC GOP quorums) Gohmert does indeed appear to suffer from dainbramage, that is not the whole story. Unfortunately, in his district, he is head and shoulders above the average voter.

What we call god is merely a living creature with superior technology & understanding. If their fragile egos demand prayer, they lose that superiority.
