is about the same size as Great Britain. Trust me, you will find as much variation here, or anywhere with an equivalent land mass and distribution of cities to rural areas.

You defy competition, with this Mr Gohmert.

We can't compete with that level of brazen stupidity, sorry!  We keep such numbskulls safe, and don't let them cause damage to others.....

    •  Whoa! All of Great Britain is roughly ONE THIRD (5+ / 0-)

      the size of Texas.
Mainland Great Britain is roughly 600 miles tall, 300 miles wide at the widest; Texas is almost 800 miles from Brownsville to the OK line above Amarillo (I used to commute most of it, dangit), and almost 800 miles wide.
In area, GB is a mere 88.7K square miles (that green and pleasant land), Texas is 268.6K square miles (this dry, dusty and [politically] miserable land).

There have been a number of incorrect geographical statements about Texas on this thread (like Midland-Odessa isn't in West Texas, my royalfrenchcanadianass!), so I jes cain't take it anymore dangnabit; and get offen ma dang grass burrs too.

Y'all need to acquire some geographical perspective (one of the school subjects that has been sadly de-emphasized of late).

None of the above excuses us (Texas) from quantifiably having probably the highest BCDQ™* anyfuckinwhere in the first world.

the North Pole and west Texas but barb-wire fences. And if [general] you don't believe it, [general] you should be there when a front comes through. (I could feel it through a wall with six inches of insulation.)

(Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)
