    Marx predicted this long ago.  Changes in technology will drive changes in basic social concepts.  Take the concept of ownership.  In prehistory no one owned the land.  The band of people living together owned the food.  Maybe people owned their clothes, but there were very few of them.

    Now in the Information Age the concept of ownership is beginning not to make sense in many domains.  Unfortunately this makes it difficult for authors and readers.
