    The first Amendment is also our protection of the Right to Peacefully Assemble. Our Library Community Room hosts baby showers, exercise groups, political meetings, and it was a church-room for a local group that temporarily needed a meeting space. And I maintain that even if something I disapprove of like the KKK wanted to meet and went through the regular sign-up at the Selectmen's office then they could use it too. They might have to deal with a protest out on the sidewalk, but if it's legal you can do it at our library. I'm picturing a day when some group needs to sit-in against authority for some reason...the library has public space and a bathroom...
