    The conventional wisdom is that low turnout benefits Lynch, but seeing how strong Markey is with voters over 50 (and how strong Lynch is with 18-49) in the polls has me questioning that.
    This seems odd... Young people tend to be more progressive. Why would they be backing the conservative? Perhaps this is an example of bad polling? Maybe polling the ignored cell phones or for some other reason had a conservative bias among young voters?

      is not on the radar for many progressive younger voters. Lynch was killing it in the 35-49 demographic, and doing pretty well in the 18-34, especially among men. Pollsters with a good track record (PPP, for one) found this.

      Cambridge went strongly for Markey.
