    As I expect is typical, this incident was mentioned in my high-school history class in passing and with a great deal of ambiguity as to who actually did what.  The implication was that while the state of police science at the time was inadequate to determine who threw the bomb, the Anarchists were at fault.  And of course, that early labor unions were violent and criminal which hadn't changed all that much since they went on to form connections with the Mafia.  And anyway it wasn't nearly as important as Teddy Roosevelt charging up San Juan Hill.

    In fact, everything I can remember being taught about American History in school was wrong.  I'm afraid I suspect that this wasn't accidental.
