My aunt (who is 82) had a neighbor (who is 87) who developed Alzheimers.  There were folks in the neighborhood who took a look out for the woman (and i aunt took her car keys away) and did deliver food to her, but the Meals on Wheels folks were there when the neighbors (also elderly) couldn't help.  I have to give kudos to the folks who delivered the Meals on Wheals here.  They were wonderful and very understanding.  My aunt's elderly neighbor is now in a nursing home, but, my goodness, she was able to stay in her house because of the help.

This is a travesty.  I could very easily be in this situation.  I have MS and VERY easily could be in the same boat.

May is Date your Mate Month. Like I need a reason. Do you?
