Starts with poll saying 36% of Americans are enthusiastic or satisfied while 59% are disappointed or angry that there's no new legislation. This leads into Ayotte responding to questions at town meetings noted by Diarist.

Wow, she has no charisma; shaky voice; cowering posture.
It's a 3 minute blurb starting at ~7 minutes after you first see Scott Pelley's face.

Unfortunately, we elect our senators for 6 years and she's not up gain until 2018. That's a long time

..at her office. Big, angry crowds.

Another thing, I believe several of the GOP pols are scared of getting shot by their own crazy base. Seriously.

What is so unnerving about the candidacy of Sarah Palin is the degree to which she represents—and her supporters celebrate—the joyful marriage of confidence and ignorance. SAM HARRIS

      •  Funny you should bring up Sarah Palin (in ur sig) (0+ / 0-)

...because how uncomfortable would it have to get for this character to just decide she'd rather "spend more time at home."

An acceptable femretardopublican excuse for not being able to stand up for what she says she believes in....

Especially if someone like Hillary is at the top of the ticket. She's certainly high on Dem target lists for that election cycle.

The lucky one who isn't up for reelection until 2018 is Jeff Flake, given how badly his approvals have crashed following his vote.

    •  She not up again unitl 2016 (not 2018) (0+ / 0-)

      I feel better.
