party lab for the country right now. That means they're intent on bringing this shit elsewhere. I'm not really interested in, as an NC-ian, having the last laugh when this goes elsewhere. I'm interested in nipping it in the bud. I'd like to think every progressive is, but I guess there are some on our side that are too arrogant to put up a fight in the here and now.

combination of false "blue" confidence and maybe some anger at failure to deliver all the hope thought promised to put a reactionary force in place to legislate gerrymandered districts for the next decade. It is a lesson every one of us needs that, again, every election is critical and has consequences. The wouldda, couldda, shouldda cannot reverse what was done.

What we can do, and we in Virginia still aren't out of the woods on that yet, about the TP/GOP efforts to hijack elections by gerrymandering is vow to use our overall power in every election to deny anyone, anyone even if looking downright saintly, state or other offices determined by statewide votes. Deny them success in any measure on a statewide ballot measure. Try to force statewide ballot measures onto the ballot for our side and then ram them through.

Until we can put this mad dog of a rump political movement were mad dogs are put there needs to be a dedicated scorched earth policy by our voters and allies as far as statewide votes go in every blue or purple state—and there may be a couple of "Red States" that can be unmade by leveraging that "urban vote" in that way.
