her tone which is scolding and condescending toward a kossack who does not deserve her scorn considering he's posted 1053 diaries - sheesh - in the same period of time that Ive posted, lets see now, 76! lol. Also, per jpmasser's profile page, his "Most Recommended Diary: Warren Tells It Like it Is: "No One in This Country Got Rich on his Own", 338 comments, 628 recommends" ... well I rest my case.

So really, I get what angie's trying to say with this in a more general sense, but I think she's a bit off target as she's zeroed in on jpmasser. And btw the comments on his were not the usual meta spats. There was/is some lively and intelligent discussion there. imho. I think we could stand some more conversation along those lines in fact, not less. I mean, it's our blog, right? heh.

    •  well, I did recd the diary (4+ / 0-)

I guess I read it in the more "general" sense you reference and I wasn't thinking about jpmasser.

I've run into a lot of "Daily Kos sucks" type comments that don't seem to offer much constructive, and I was frustrated with that so I read the diary in my own context

but you raise a valid point. I just wasn't thinking of that

I certainly do not think jpmasser is anything but a great guy

I also agree with Laurence that we've all got things we'd like to change, because we care about the community.

As a member of Courtesy Kos, I am dedicated to civility and respect for all kossacks, regardless of their opinions, affiliations, or cliques.
