    It's not that atheists pick on Christians particularly, but in the U.S. they are by far the most dominant religion and it is the one that tries to shove their beliefs down everyone's throat. Christians are usually the ones we find ourselves having to fight back against.

    Trust me, atheists are equally contemptuous of all religions, not just Christianity.

      Take the art world for example. Anti-christian themes are plentiful, but anti-islam themes get shut down as hate speech.

      It's cowardly. It's like beating up on Buddhists. You know they won't do anything. Meanwhile, there is real injustice in the muslim religion, but that would take courage to speak out against.

      And guess what. Most Americans believe in God. Atheists don't win too many elections.

      I'm afraid that my signature won't match the mood of my comment.
