    But having grown up in the North Bay and gone to school at Davis (twice), I think it odd that the I-80 corridor from Vallejo to Davis is not put together.  These bedroom communities and Air Force retirees are a very close cultural fit, and chopping them up as this map does puts them with very divergent communities.  Is that the goal, or an unfortunate by-product of staring at population maps too long?

    Great work, btw.  I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is, and commend your effort and your discussion of each district.

    If you want to cut Social Security, you're not a real Democrat.

      Vallejo is much more Bay Area and diverse than the rest of the corridor, but Fairfield just didn't fit, unfortunately :/
