  •  Yes, some of that preachiness is certainly (0+ / 0-)

"Nixonian" to be sure (the late 60's iteration on NBC is interesting since his sidekick is the later "Col. Potter" from MASH, a preachiness of another kind, one I find much more simpatico).

Then again, as I have done before, I challenge all those who think it's perfectly OK to give a kid a gun to justify it to me, a kid that learned to use a gun, but certainly wasn't given one at five years old.

block on MeTV and was stunned to see it was in color (actually the promos last few weeks have been too). I was expecting the old B&W series somehow, which I had actually seen a few of way back when, and listened on the radio too.
Yup, they run MASH too, 6-7PM CDT; great stuff, but I can't hardly watch it for the 15th time again  :].

I can't imagine giving the use of an unrestricted gun to a child either, but proper training in use of them should begin early IMO.

      •  OK, so my challenge to everyone: (0+ / 0-)

"Do you think it should be legal to teach a kid that can barely read to shoot a gun, that is, a four, five, or six year old?"

        Why?
