    insurance.  As a practical matter, it gives people the choice of getting insurance or paying a modest penalty with the option to get insurance later if one gets an expensive illness.

    The difference in cost between these two options is very important in determining  what people choose to do.

    New Yorkers may also see increases in their health insurance as ACA establishes minimum benefits levels and some may have their insurance cost go up from the required higher benefits.

    The most important way to protect the environment is not to have more than one child.

      should help many New Yorkers with low and moderate incomes and bring down their monthly insurance costs. Right now, those on the individual market have to pay the full cost.

      Skepticism of all the elite institutions, not trust, is what required for successful leadership in this era. Digby
