    My mother died of metastatic cancer of the uterus. It was very hard.
    I give directly to Roswell Park in Buffalo, where she received some treatment.
    Roswell Park seems to have considerable success extending the lives of its patients.

        was pretty much broke, and uninsured. I lost a family member to cancer who was affluent and had wonderful health insurance. Guess what? Cancer is miserable, no matter what :(

          It's much worse if you're uninsured and can't afford quality care.

          Your comment is a wee bit clueless.  Of course cancer sucks.  Would it not matter to you if you had it and opulent get top notch care?
