Or possibly merely terrible arithmetic or possibly reckless disregard for data-checking.

Wisconsin grew its short-term jobs 1.9% by their measure (percentage change from Sep/Oct/Nov 2010 average to Sep/Oct/Nov 2012 average by CES), but e.g. Wyoming grew 1.7% over the same 2-year period.

The BLS benchmark of CES came out on March 15th and the large revision to Wisconsin's job total changes from the second half of 2011 surprised nobody who was paying attention.  Perhaps the Chamber couldn't be bothered paying attention or couldn't be bothered spending an hour re-running the numbers during the 1 1/2 month gap between the revisions being released and their report coming out.

The upshot of this is that Wisconsin's short-term job growth ranking is artificially depressed by a few points this year (n.b. not many), so next year Walker will (if we don't reach total jobs apocalypse by then) tout "Wisconsin rises 5 in the US Chamber job rankings in just the last year alone!" or drivel to that effect.

Fake candidates nominated by the GOP for the recalls: 6 out of 7. Fake signatures on the recall petitions: 4 out of 1,860,283.

So Walker destroys the state and campaigns on being the phoenix that rises out of the ashes.  Yeah, that might sell with most people who are media fail to inform.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
