  •  Nice diary. Thanks for another tips collection; (8+ / 0-)

since it appears some new folks wanting to quit are starting to hang out, it is important to post one of these periodically.

Me, I quit cold turkey but this is my third successful attempt that is over a couple weeks long, so I have lots of good practice. [4 years, 3 years and coming up on 2 years] Stupid to take it up again after not smoking for several years but I thought maybe I could keep it from becoming a pack a day habit after that much time nico-free. WRONG! I was back to a pack a day in 23 hours. [Oddly, the first drag didn't do anything. It was the next lungful the next day that gave me the rush and made me buy the pack to smoke all at once to make up for lost time.]

I was thinking about quitting again for many moons when I found GUS and it was enough to help me over the last hesitations to just go for it. And Wow! Almost 2 years now, unbelievable. I did it!

    You can too.

I am starting to read the newer book on "The Art of Fermentation." I am loving it [which is why I am late to the party here.......] I will give a more in depth review after I have read and digested the book for another day or two.

There is no they, We will sink or swim together.... We are here to awaken from the illusion of our separateness
