    I don't think so.

    Keep in mind that any issue gets into the fatigue zone with the public at some time.  There might need to be continued work behind the scenes before it is brought public again.  I'm not saying to quit, I'm saying to plan and time the campaigns for maximum benefit.

      on one issue is a problem since gay rights aren't just marriage equality.

      What happens if the S.Ct. rules in favor of marriage equality, does that mean the "Kill the Gays' that American Evangelicals are pushing abroad, now in a new country, get ignored:

      See the problem here is the same one that occurred with the civil rights movement for black civil rights. Essentially people got tired, and didn't want to deal with it anymore so we remain stagnant on the topic.
