    I live in Oregon, where we have no sales tax, and I buy a lot of things online.  Does this new proposal mean that I will have to pay sales tax on items shipped from stores in an area that does have sales tax? Or is the retailer only going to collect the taxes based on where the item is delivered?  Right now, if I buy from Amazon (which I do regularly) I pay no tax if the item is shipped to me at home, but they do collect it if I send the item to a friend in WA.
    If I now how to pay 10% more, plus shipping to buy from a retailer in WA, then it is very likely to make me reconsider where I buy it from.  Just another metric to take into account when looking at the total cost.
