These guys need to be arrested at this protest.
Remember, peaceful protesters have been raided and arrested and their signs and puppets seized before they could protest.
Why should armed demonstrators be allowed?

when the police decide they're going to come down hard on peaceful protestors?

Seriously, I don't agree with these people, but throwing a gun over your shoulder and marching is civil disobedience. Now, I don't know to what, exactly, as no one has ever proposed taking away muskets and hunting rifles. But as the event is described, it is classic civil disobedience. That I don't agree with the cause has nothing to do with what it is. If they don't shoot anyone, well, the right to peaceable assembly shall not be infringed.

Yes, they're going to break a law, so did the people who sat at lunch counters.

I truly believe that the error here would be overreacting not underreacting. If the police come in ready to create a debacle, we'll have a debacle. Let them march, make their point and go home.

Why would arresting them and potentially creating a firefight help with the situation?

I mean, quid pro quo? Our anti-war protestors were arrested, so your pro-gun-rights folks must? How does this help?
