    BY the authorities you called - then there is no further need to be all up in other people's business.  Because they have already checked out the situation enough to KNOW what is going on and inform the helpful diarist - who is now seeking public approval for their actions because they aren't satisfied with how it went down.

      to this, as well. Many have stated as much as well. But her initial concerns and reasoning for calling said officials is very understandable, and there's nothing odd-ball about her concern even as she gave it time to see if after the first or second time seeing the child she should call said officials.

      I think you have taken a diary and turned it into some kind of condemnation for diarist's concerns about a plausible safety issue concerning a young child.
