  •  It's pretty obvious (15+ / 0-)

that a terrified, unorganized, desperate work pool benefits the oligarchy; no wonder the right is opposed to the idea of dealing with citizens who can't be quite as easily intimidated.

In reading right wing blogs on the issue, I came across something both fascinating and horrifying (as usual on these places).  If there is any amnesty, they insisted, it can't include voting rights.  Sort of a tiered system, they want (what a surprise).  Really, what they'd prefer is slavery but there is that pesky amendment.  So keeping a huge group of ready labor terrified of deportation and worse is the next best thing.

The right is absolutely petrified of the idea of an organized labor force.  As they should be.

Justice For Will Will spent his brief, courageous life fighting for the rights we all take for granted. Please share his story to support the fight!

they have no problem with including the only right they recognize - the right to bear arms without a background check.

If the Republicans ever find out that Barack Obama favors respiration, we'll be a one-party system inside two minutes. - Alan Lewis
