    that his weight is a factor in his life expectancy. However it's hard  to forget the way he lashed out at a doctor who expressed a medical opinion about risks associated with him running for President...a Republican doctor. Christie's response was "Shut Up" with a definite "STFU" tone.

    To me it's a wasted opportunity. He could have owned his decision, said " this is a reality I am choosing to deal with " for the reasons he's cited. That's one way I would be better able to put the politics aside on this.

    Instead, he'll continue to advocate policies that won't further the health of others. He'll likely continue to resist any efforts to educate people etc. That makes him just one more Republican hypocrite who's got theirs and everyone else, too bad.

    We view "The Handmaid's Tale" as cautionary. The GOP views it as an instruction book.
