  •  IMHO, until there is a vendor in US (6+ / 0-)

    that can sell a wide assortment of clothes that can be physically examined, tried on for size, provided with solid documentation about the rights and conditions of assemblers, documented also on the rights and conditions of those that work on the raw materials that go into the clothes,

    ...then there is not going to be any pressure of significance on clothing manufacturers.  

    I personally would be willing to pay a 20% premium or more for such clothes.  I would also be willing to pay more for food if farm workers are given the rights and conditions they deserve.
