    That document was written for Netanyahu. He rejected it. So just as I said, there are neo-conservatives in the US that have pushed for regime change for over a decade. Israel didn't sign on to that plan.

        I'm a US citizen. I don't think "we", the US has followed it to a T, but there's no question that the ideas presented in the document have had some strong influence. But that's not what I was disagreeing with. BigAl said "What Israel wants, the neocons want." And virtually nothing that Israel has done since the document was prepared has been consistent with the policies recommended. Nor are many of the actions that the US has taken been particularly good for Israel.

        So no, unless you mean by "coincidence", not closely resembling the policy recommendations of a 16 year old rejected document at all.
