  •  In our coop store the organic vegetable section (0+ / 0-)

    has become unaffordable for most people living in the coop community. They don't sell any non-organic vegetables anymore. There is a farmer's market each saturday, but vegetables are unbelievably expensive. I would say the prices on average are 25 - 30%  % higher than just last year. I don't see people buying much fresh vegetables at all. That being a coop store for a huge cooperatively organized community of 1800 units is amazing to me.
