    ....as a Carrier myself, I always look forward to this time of year.

    I have a route with both very rich and very poor people on it. Sadly, I get very little if ANYTHING from the Rich Folks. But Poor Folks ALWAYS give beyond their means because they understand what "hungry" feels like.

    I've never understood people with a lot of money.

      were the middle class folks, the poorer folks or those folks who did not have much. Whereas his wealthier patrons were not as generous. But inteestingl he found his older retired patrons who were well off seemed to be more generous than those younger wealthier folks which surprised him.
