    Great comment. The system is rigged, and the 60 vote rule in the Senate is one of the biggest problems. That's why we didn't get action on climate change, and most any other issue young people care about. The world's oldest legislative body doesn't deliver for young people.

    I hope everyone thinks about the consequences of the Senate filibuster rule. Electing a new President isn't going to magically produce different results if we don't change Congress.
    I think a lot of young people, like your granddaughter, smartly understand that it's a systemic problem. Blaming Obama and looking for a new Presidential savior, like many older online commenters, isn't going to change the fact that the system is rigged against anyone who tries to be a good President.
