    doctoral committee never suggested to him that he read this famous book by another Harvard man?

    There's got to be a story as to why Richwine's dissertation was ever accepted.  I'm beginning to think they gave him the degree because that was the only way they could get him off campus quickly without his threatening to sue.

      look to its policies regarding quality of dissertations. Some of the quoted statements from the dissertation were so obviously biased and non-fact-based, you have to wonder how a faculty member with any knowledge of social science research could find them acceptable. (when I got my Ph.D., the standards I was held to were far higher).

      While Democrats work to get more people to vote, Republicans work to ensure those votes won't count.
