    They get big here in the mountains (bigger than most herpetologists like to admit), eat mice, moles, voles and... Copperheads! Really, I actually saw one do it. Copperheads are nasty pit vipers that think they own the place, very aggressive and will definitely waste some venom on anybody nearby.

    Keep him around!

      He didn't seem very aggressive. Lily loves to play with cords and ropes, and I think she mistook him for a toy until he started hissing back.

      Cool, now I have frogs, bats, geckos, and snakes. Not bad for a city dweller!
