    in this because Washington figures the people don't remember what it is, and they don't want to remind them. When what we really should be doing is having serious congressional hearings on government overreach and legislation like the PATRIOT act that allowed this shit to happen in the first place.

        leanings as opposed to McClatchey (sp?). That's why I'm a bit surprised by all the hysteria. The PATRIOT ACT  is as un-American as it comes, but once the SOBs get something like that encoded into law, we can never get rid of it! T and R!!
